Workshop: Control of Biomedical Systems
| Last week, I co-organized (and attended 😁) the workshop “Control of Biomedical Systems” at KTH Royal Institute of Technology | Digital Futures. |
It was great to unite interdisciplinary experts and hear about control in respiration, anesthesia, endocrinology, and the cardiovascular system. My personal highlights were the early career pitches by eight motivated young researchers, as well as Steffen Leonhardt’s distinguished lecture and Åke Larsson’s industry insights from Getinge.
A special thanks goes to the Department of Automatic Control, Lund University, for letting us borrow their banners on Female Influencers in Automatic Control and draw attention to a very underrepresented group 💪
